Golf
Finegand is the perfect place to spend a golfing holiday as it
is situated within easy reach of numerous high quality courses,
together with many interesting and challenging 9 hole courses.
Championship courses are within easy reach, namely Gleneagles,
St. Andrews and Carnoustie, while high quality courses are available
nearby at Blairgowrie, Alyth, Pitlochry, Braemar and elsewhere
within easy reach. Also one of the highest courses in
Great Britain is situated at Dalmunzie House Hotel (only five
miles away). This is a testing 9 hole course - providing a challenge
to the more experienced golfer whilst also being suitable for
beginners. This course is set amongst some of the most spectacular
scenery, and at the right time of year it is possible to hear
the stags calling whilst concentrating on that tricky putt.
Shooting
Rough shooting, including grouse, pheasant and roe deer may be
available occasionally on the estate by prior arrangement only.
Visitors should be able to find all types of game shooting and
stalking opportunities locally.
